Everyone can support Black Birders Week with our BlackAFinSTEM x Bird Collective collaboration. This tee features a pair of Boat-tailed Grackles, with the male calling from the ground as the female flies above marsh grasses. Science illustrator Liz Wahid rendered these birds to commemorate this weeklong event, which showcases the many unique ways Black people connect in the outdoors. Boat-tailed Grackles are social birds, and are easily seen or heard around tidal areas across the southeastern U.S., including Liz's home state of North Carolina.
Bird Collective will donate 100% of the profits from this collection to BlackAFinSTEM, as it celebrates Black experiences in science, technology, engineering and mathematics and works to make outdoor recreation safe and accessible.
