This bandana celebrates our shoreline ecosystems, which provide vital habitat for beach-nesting birds such as plovers, skimmers, and oystercatchers.
Coastal areas are increasingly threatened by trash, and the American Bird Conservancy is leading an effort in the Gulf Coast: Stopping Plastics and Litter Along Shorelines (SPLASh). The program’s mission is to reduce trash accumulating on shorelines in the greater Houston-Galveston region of Texas, the most littered stretch of shoreline along the U.S. Gulf Coast.
20% of profits go to the American Bird Conservancy as it works to conserve native birds and their habitats across the Western Hemisphere.
