The official bird of no fewer than seven eastern states, the Northern Cardinal has led countless people to open a field guide or pick up binoculars for the first time. Cardinals have been extending their range northward for decades, in part, it seems, due to the spread of feeders filled with sunflower seeds. The vivid red male brightens any snowy day, and both males and females sing in the spring.

100% Nylon.

All embroidered bird patches have an iron-on backing, but the adhesive is temporary. For durability, we recommend sewing or using a permanent, flexible fabric glue.

Shipping & Returns

Patches ship separately from other items. To maintain low shipping costs, patches are sent in an envelope via USPS first class letter mail without tracking, except for orders containing 4 patches or more.

Domestic patch orders: Allow 5-15 business days for delivery after shipping notification.

International patch orders: Allow 10-28 business days for delivery after shipping notification.

Great patch. I use it to cover a bleach stain on a linen shirt. Be aware to use a piece of ironing cloth you don't mind staining when putting the patch on ( I used an old pillow case), as the red transfered a bit onto the ironing cloth, but still looks great.

I like to introduce people to birds. When I get someone that has a spark, I like to give them a little reminder. I’ve bought, those foldout bird identification pamphlet, a picture of their bird, or a link to information on their life bird from our walk. I’ve given bird feather book marks, binocular cleaners and heat pads for toes and pockets. Since I found these amazing patches, I have gotten them of my favorite birds. The Cardinal patch is absolutely amazing. The color is so beautiful. A lot of people say that the Cardinal is a reminder of those they have lost.
