Shipping & Returns

Holiday deadline for domestic orders is December 15th! 

Shipping and Processing Times

Please allow 2-6 business days for your order to be processed for shipping. After processing, the average shipping time is about 3-4 business days (with the exception of patches, see below) for domestic orders.

Vintage items, accessories, and patches ship separately.

Patches are shipped via USPS. To keep shipping costs low for our customers, we do not ship small patch orders with tracking. For domestic orders, pease allow 5-15 business days after notification of shipping to receive it in your mailbox, For international orders, please allow 10-28 business days.

International Shipping

We ship internationally, and orders typically take 7-21 business days to reach their destination. Please be aware that your item may be held at customs for inspection, delaying the delivery time, and you may be charged a customs fee, import tax or additional charge. Customers are responsible for all customs fees.

Pre-Shipment

If your order is stuck in pre-shipment that means that the order is in USPS possession. Due to the current situation with federal funding cuts and COVID-19, there are increased USPS disruptions in service. USPS delays are not uncommon, and once a package is with USPS, we have no means of tracking it beyond your own. If you have inquiries about your package it is best to reach out to USPS directly.

If you order is still in pre-shipment after one week please contact us and we will do our best to resolve the situation. We know how frustrating delays can be, and are sorry for any inconvenience this has caused.

Changes or Cancellations

If you would like to change or cancel an order please contact us immediately. We may or may not be able to accommodate requests depending on what stage of processing and shipping your order is in.

Incorrect Shipping Address

We are not responsible for incorrect shipping addresses. If you made an error in your shipping address please contact us immediately to have it changed. If your item has already shipped - please reach out to the carrier directly for changes. If the item is returned to us due to an incorrect address, we can re-ship it for an additional shipping fee to the correct address.

Returns

We will accept returns of unwashed, unworn product within 30 days of purchase. You are responsible for shipping costs. Please visit our return center here to begin the process.

START A RETURN

If your item arrives damaged, please send us a photo of the entire garment and the damage described to info@birdcollective.com. Once we review and determine the damage is our fault, we will process a replacement immediately.

Vintage and sale items are final and returns will not be accepted.

International Orders: Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs on international orders.

Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we'll notify you of its approval or rejection. If it's approved, your refund will be processed and a credit automatically applied to your credit card or original method of payment. Shipping fees are non-refundable.

Exchanges (if applicable)

Exchanges are free. Once your return is received and inspected, we'll notify you of its approval or rejection. If it's approved, your exchange will be processed within 24-48 hours. You will receive an order notification once your exchange has been processed. This order notification is a record of your new item and a way to track your order.  If we do not have the item in stock we will contact you for an alternative replacement or refund.

Sale items (if applicable)

Only regularly-priced items may be refunded; items on sale cannot be refunded. However, if your item is defective or damaged please contact us.

Shipping for returns

Unless your item was damaged or defective, you will be responsible for paying the cost of shipping, which is non-refundable. The turnaround time for exchanges will vary based on your location.

If you are shipping an item valued over $75, please consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We can't guarantee that we'll receive your returned item, and we only process returns and exchanges upon receipt and inspection of the original product.
