What do you seek to communicate with your work?

In my work, I like to evoke emotion through the use of color, texture and composition. I strive to create pieces that not only resonate visually but also offer a sense of aesthetic pleasure—something that captivates the eye and stirs feeling.

How has nature been a source of inspiration for you?

Nature and the outdoors mean so much to me—textures, color, composition and even emotion, I see it all when I’m out basking in nature. My art doesn’t exist without it.

Tell us about your most memorable bird experience.

Last year, a conure ended up flying inside my house. We tried looking all over for their owner or any leads as to where she came from but no luck. We decided to care for her in the meantime. She was the most obnoxious, fun, and loving bird. She loves it when I tinker with my camera and make coffee. She was with me and my fam for about a year till she flew out the door. I miss her every day.
