Joy, comedy, magic, connection

How has nature been a source of inspiration for you?

I go to nature when I need to be reset and gain clarity. I am always observing relationships in nature between plants, animals and the seasons, and find an endless source of inspiration through that. I grow a vegetable garden year-round and tend to it daily. I love looking at colors and shapes. When I am at a loss for creative ideas I look outside.

Tell us about your most memorable bird experience.

On the morning of the day that my daughter was born, a falcon swooped down and killed a lizard at my feet! I knew then that she was going to be born that day.
