What do you seek to communicate with your work?

Hand-drawn, organic linework with a balance of grit and softness complimented by dynamic typography and layouts.

How has nature been a source of inspiration for you?

Growing up in Arizona showed me how to find beauty in an often desolate place. It can be a tough and prickly place to be, but there is so much beauty as well as completely unique life forms that can be found in the desert.

Tell us about your most memorable bird experience.

A while back, my wife and I were road tripping from Arizona to California and were in the middle of nowhere in the desert. We came across a cop chasing down an ostrich on the side of the road. The two of them looked so confused it was like a scene straight out of a movie. We still talk and laugh about this every time we do this road trip.
