Sabrina Bosco is an artist who lives in New York and created the artwork for our Birdsong Project collection. She enjoys making art, listening to music, going to the beach, and being with loved ones. She says she’s inspired by the harmony one finds in nature, and the essential role birds play in that balance. “The planet belongs to us as much as it belongs to every other animal,” she told us.

What do you seek to communicate in your work?
Emotions, nostalgia, memories, feelings, connection
How has nature been a source of inspiration for you?
Nature has always been a teacher for me, and I see human nature reflected in it. Whether it’s waves reflecting the way emotions come and go, or seasons reflecting our own personal regrowths and cycles. I use nature in art to represent things I can’t with only words.
Tell us about your most memorable bird experience.
Seeing a giant group of starlings dance in the sky, it looked like a black cloud. That’s the most of them I’ve seen at once.
