i’ve had only great experiences with these patches so far :] the embroidered image is much clearer than i feared such a small item would be, and the information cards on the back are a nice bonus. delicate parts (such as the beak, legs) are stiff and well-made, i have little-to-no fear of them breaking off

Like the patch design a lot. Sewed it by hand onto a bucket hat and it turned out nicely. I used a dark gray thread and it faded pretty well into the design all along the patch. I didn't try ironing it, just sewed.

All 11 patches I purchased were realistic and well made. I will sew these “Michigan” birds onto a vest for my 3 y/o grandson who is learning to identify our natives and migrants. The Kirkland’s warbler provides a great opportunity to discuss the importance of habitat while the American Woodcock has so many hilarious nicknames it’s just giggles. The Green and Great Blue herons are graphic examples of size and hunting specialization even among “birds of a feather” Thank you.
