Bird Collective was founded by birders, artists, and nature lovers who believe what you wear and gift should reflect your values. We will never use ai to produce our artwork.  We design every piece in-house with care, work closely with responsible production partners, and stand behind our products.

Thoughtful Design, Made to Last

Every Bird Collective product begins with original artwork created by our in-house team or independent artists we collaborate with. Our designs are inspired by birds, nature, and the communities that care about them and are meant to be worn, used, and loved for years.

We focus on:

• Comfortable, wearable fabrics chosen for everyday use. 
• Timeless designs meant to be worn year after year
• Small production runs to avoid overproduction and waste

Because we produce in limited quantities, some items may sell out quickly or be restocked selectively. This allows us to stay intentional and reduce excess inventory.

Ethical Manufacturing & Responsible Partnerships

We are committed to working with manufacturing partners that align with our values around ethical labor and responsible production.

Whenever possible, we partner with factories that hold recognized social compliance certifications such as BSCI (Business Social Compliance Initiative) or WRAP (Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production). We vet our factories and review available certifications and documentation to the best of our ability.

While we prioritize working with local or U.S.-based manufacturers when feasible, this is not always possible depending on the product, materials, or production capabilities required. In those cases, we carefully select international partners that meet our standards and share our commitment to ethical manufacturing.

As a small business, our partners may vary by product category, but our expectations around labor practices and transparency remain consistent.

Materials & Environmental Considerations

Material choice plays a significant role in both product quality and environmental impact.

Whenever possible, we prioritize natural and lower-impact materials, including:

• Organic Materials

When natural fibers aren’t feasible for a specific product, we aim to source recycled fibers or materials as an alternative. These decisions are made thoughtfully, balancing durability, comfort, availability, and environmental considerations.

We continue to evaluate our material choices as better options become available and as our supply chain evolves.

Fit, Comfort & Product Details

We know that fit and feel matter. That’s why we strive to provide clear product descriptions and sizing guidance on our apparel pages.
