COMING SOON! Expected to arrive mid-June, with plenty of time to order before the conference.
The official AOS 2026 conference hat features a Black-capped Chickadee (Poecile atricapillus), an American Woodcock (Scolopax minor), and a Prairie Warbler (Setophaga discolor)—species that reflect the avian diversity of Amherst, Massachusetts, where the annual conference will be held.
This year’s theme, “Hope is the Thing with Feathers,” is inspired by the poem by Emily Dickinson. The poet lived her entire life in Amherst.
The conference logo and merchandise were created through a collaboration between American Ornithological Society and Bird Collective.
