The fit of this hat is very confusing, it's quite large and billowy. More like a train conductor hat than a ball cap. Looks weird on me and will be giving it to a friend. Otherwise the design is cute and hat appears well made.

The hat is very large for one size fits all, even with the adjuster. The top itself is pretty baggy compared to other hats, even on a head it fits well on. The design is just as good as looks online, great quality. Just overall a strange fit.

So excited to have more west coast bird representation! I couldn't resist the quail hat - our neighborhood was a busy commuting route for families of quail and I love seeing them scurrying in line.
The hat's vibrant colors are just as shown. The strap in the back allows a great range of head diameter. The bucket of the hat is just a little big for me, but I don't mind it because I love the hat.

The design is lovely but the hat itself is poorly constructed. There were some noticeable shortcuts taken in production that lowered the quality and make it feel cheap. The embroidery looks good but the structural stitching is haphazard, and the lack of a firm lining the inside of the front of the hat means it looks lumpy and misshapen when worn. I'm bummed because the corduroy least sandpiper hat I bought from BC a few years ago was much more nicely made and I was expecting the same from this one. I feel like I overpaid for this hat but I ended up not returning it simply because I love the quails and the color too much to not wear it.

I am a 5’4” woman & this hat is HUGE and there’s no good way to wear it. When I tighten the strap the embroidery makes the hat so wide. When I try to wear it not tightened it can immerse half my skull as shown in this picture. It does fit my 6’2” bf w/ remarkably large head just fine. The embroidery is very cute and true to the website but unfortunately I will have to return this item.

Love this hat. I keep quail as a hobby and while mine aren't the quail depicted on this hat, they are all some hilarious birds. Bonus points that we always see Gambels Quail running around Joshua Tree and they make for great watching.
