Product Details

This tie dye celebrates the Rock Pigeon, a staple of urban areas across North America. In the wild, these birds nest on cliffs and rocky ledges across Europe, North Africa, and Asia, but the pigeons brought to North America in the early 17th century have since taken to roosting on the ledges and rooftops of human cities.

    100% heavyweight cotton.

    This is pigment dyed, which gives a soft, washed, vintage look with slight variations in color. The pigment fades a bit with repeated washing, giving a lived-in feel that we love.

    Avoid using bleach, harsh detergents, and hot water. For best results, turn the garment inside-out and wash with cold water and mild detergent, with like colors. Colors may bleed in first wash.

    Screen printed in Brooklyn with PVC-free inks.

    To celebrate this collection, we've donated $5,000 to the Wild Bird Fund, a New York City rescue that cares for and rehabilitates injured wildlife. Many of their patients are pigeons.
