This collection celebrates Great Gull Island, home to the world's largest nesting Common Tern colony and the largest Roseate Tern colony in the Western Hemisphere. Since its 1949 acquisition by the American Museum of Natural History, the Linnaean Society of New York has worked tirelessly to support conservation and research projects to protect these important bird populations.
