The 2XL is perfectly oversized for me, it's soooo comfy at 100% cotton, and something about the way it is cut gives it the exact right amount of slouch and structure. And to top it all off, it has the best and loveliest little chickadee!!!

Bought for my boyfriend as a birthday gift. He loved it! Fit very well and the embroidery was very nice and high quality. Back side of embroidery is a little scratchy on the inside but I’m sure it’ll soften with wear/washing.

My husband and I both loved the chickadee design (he liked a few others but they were limited on XL sizes). I ordered a size down from normal as I saw they were designed oversized and I would recommend that if you don’t want a very baggy look.
The length is a little long for my taste, but it does a wonderful tuck thanks to the band at the bottom - it allows an adjustable length that works great!
Fabric is very soft and the embroidery is flawless - the color is such a fun faded look too! Finding every excuse to wear this sweater now!

I love the design of this sweater. The material is a little stiff and the inside is not as soft as the cropped sweater from Bird Collective. I think it will wear in after a few washes. I'm glad I bought it to support birds and I love chickadees! If you are on the fence about buying this sweater, you should do it.

I was super excited to receive this sweatshirt with the adorable embroidered chickadee. Unfortunately, upon receipt I discovered that the fabric left much to be desired. Numerous reviews of this product specifically mentioned the soft, high-quality fabric. The sweatshirt I received had very stiff and scratchy fabric that was reminiscent of a cheap sweatshirt that had already been washed and dried. I have included a picture of the inside of the fabric which shows the extensive pilling covering the inside of the item. In my opinion, nothing about the fabric is soft or comfortable.
I was so surprised at the discrepancy between the item I received and what was described in the reviews that I contacted customer service to confirm that this item was not defective. Customer service was very nice and responded quickly to confirm that my item was NOT defective and offer a return if I was unsatisfied with the product.
I don't know if suppliers changed since the time of the reviews (which seem to only go through May 2022), but the item I received does not seem like it is the same quality of item that previous customers received.
I will say that the quality of the embroidery was great. However, that was vastly overshadowed by the stiff and scratchy fabric of the sweatshirt, which ultimately made the garment unwearable for me.

I bought this for my husband for Christmas. We both loved it at first. It fit well, was a nice weight and it was really cute. I washed and dried it once and it still looked great. Then he spilled food on it. I was treating the stain before washing it again. I applied a brush lightly to the stain and I immediately noticed that the brush was pink so I stopped. I washed it hoping it would be OK but the color came off leaving a white spot in the middle of the shirt. I have never had this happen to something that I have already washed. I am very sad because we really loved that sweatshirt .

It’s really high quality and thick. It’s a bit more structured and has more of a like soft washed canvas-ish feel. It’s long (I’m shorter and it covers my whole bum) and the washed red color is really nice. The chickadee is adorable and the embroidery feels strong. I want it to be cooler outside so I can wear it every day! It seems like the kind of sweatshirt I’ll have a long time and my baby daughter will steal it from me when she’s older.

Absolutely perfect I'm every way! It's a fantastic quality, looks 'older' so if you're after a vintage look this is perfect. It has held up well to washing, doesn't shrink when dried. I've worn this every day the weather has been below 70 (I live in the south but am from the North, I'm just trying to justify a sweatshirt so I set 70 as a threshold!). It's thick and thus warm. I wish it came in more colors and had different embroidered birds, then I'd collect them all!
