Where do you live?

I’m based in Brooklyn, NY.
I’m originally from Argentina.

What do you seek to communicate with your work?

I seek to communicate emotion and identity through design.
I want my work to feel human, alive, and connected to culture, memory, and nature.

How has nature been a source of inspiration for you?

I studied geology for a few years and it had a huge impact on me.

I see Earth as a living being, moving and changing shape, though it’s so slow it’s barely noticeable for us humans. It taught me that everything is connected, and everything leaves a mark, a trace. I make art because I want my trace to be beautiful.

Tell us about your most memorable bird experience.

The song of the Zorzal (Rufous-bellied Thrush) is very emotional for me.

Back home, right before the sun rises, you hear the sweet song of the Zorzal. It’s like a soft alarm clock announcing a new day. Every time I’m back and I hear it, it brings me so much joy.
