Where do you live?

Brooklyn, New York

What do you do for a living?

Illustrator / Designer

Illustrated poster reading “New York City” showing surreal city scenes with floating figures, fish, chains, and urban imagery in vibrant colors.
Black-and-white illustration of grim reaper figures, skeletons, and an angel riding a rhinoceros through clouds and gravestones, with a turntable in the foreground.

What is the biggest source of inspiration in your work?

From a young age my biggest inspiration has been comic books. I learned to draw from studying them, so it is somewhat engrained in everything I do. I still look to them when I need a boost.

Tell us about your most memorable bird experience.

I took a kayak tour in the bioluminescent bay in Vieques, Puerto Rico. Coming from urban NY, I’m accustomed to a constant presence of light pollution. On the small island, there was so little of that. It was amazing to have a clear view of the Milky Way above me, while sitting in water that glowed like the stars. It was overwhelming.
